25 | On 4/1/2022 at 9:30AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lillian Casillas conducted an announced Pre-Licensing Inspection. LPA met with Applicant, Brianna Luff Snyder, and Imsharaf Minahi (Assistant) who guided LPA on a tour of the inside and outside of the home. LPA observed 0 in care. Hours of operation are scheduled for Monday through Friday, 6:00AM to 7:00PM.
Applicant is applying for a Large Family Child Care Home with maximum capacity of 14 children with an assistant, ages 18 months to 6 years old.
This is a single-story home with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, office, front yard, backyard, patio, and garage. Childcare areas are: living room, bathroom 1, kitchen, dining room, patio, and backyard. Off-limits areas are: bedroom 1, bedroom 2, bedroom 3, bathroom 2, bathroom 3, laundry room, office, front yard, and garage.
Indoor
LPA entered the home through the entrance door that leads into a hallway where LPA observed a sanitation station equipped with a touchless thermometer and hand sanitizer as well as cubbies for children. This hallway leads to the living room, which is the primary childcare area. In the living room, LPA observed a Montessori-style classroom set up with a library, and sensorial learning materials. The fireplace is made inaccessible to children by a large cubbie unit for learning language. The dining room is adjacent to the living room. LPA observed a children's table and sensorial learning materials in this room. LPA observed a dining area that includes three children's tables. Applicant stated children will eat lunch on these tables. Applicant stated she will provide an afternoon snack. In the dining area, LPA observed a fireplace covered by a large piece of wood secured to the wall. LPA observed two serviced 2A10:BC fire extinguishers located in the dining room and dining area.
