25 | On 11/09/22 Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Andrew Alemoh met with Licensee Sandra Rodas, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility for the One Year Required Inspection. This is a one story 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home with kitchen, dining room, living room, playroom and detached garage. There is no pool on the premises. Upon arrival LPA observed a total of 5 children and 1 infant.
Physical Plant: Main care is provided in the living room and playroom. Children use the bathroom in hallway on the right. Children have access to the living room, playroom, children's bathroom, and backyard. (Backyard is currently off limits due to cold weather) Off limit area includes 2 of the home’s bedrooms, 1-bathroom, front yard, kitchen, and garage. The home was inspected inside and out for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, heating and ventilation, inaccessibility to poisons, detergents/cleaning compounds (locked under the sink and outside storage), medicines (locked in plastic container in play room, inaccessible to children) and hazardous items (sharp knives are locked in kitchen cabinet inaccessible to children) that can pose a danger to children. The home has no fireplace. The home has safe and age-appropriate toys, play equipment and materials. The smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, and Fire Extinguisher (3A40BC) are in operable condition. Per Licensee no one smokes in the home. No baby bouncer’s saucer chairs, or any recalled and or prohibited toys or sleep/ play equipment were observed on the premises. There is a designated area for ill children as necessary in bedroom #1 in the hallway on the left. Per Licensee there are no weapon/firearms in the home. LPA advised licensee that all electrical outlets must be inaccessible.
The last documented fire/earthquake drill was completed 4/10/22, LPA's advised licensee to conduct and document disaster drills every six months. Roster complete and maintained current.
