25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) King-Lewis conducted a required 1 year Inspection with Jessica Cardenas, licensee's wife. At the time of the visit licensee's 3 children (2 & 9 years of age females, and 12,14, &16 years of age males). LPA was guided on a tour of the home day-care area. The day care take place in the following area of the home: family room, dining area front hallway bathroom and rear yard.
Licensee states the day care hours of operation is Sunday - Saturday 24 hours. Currently living in the home are licensee, licensee’s spouse, and 5 minor children.
Physical Plant:
There is a covered spa in the rear yard in accessible to child with a locked cover. Licensee's wife stated there are no firearms or other dangerous weapons. Storage areas for poisons, are kept in off-limit garage. Medication are stored in off-limit area of home. Detergents, cleaning compounds and other items which could pose a danger to children are inaccessible to children stored in the kiddy lock under kitchen sink. No fireplace observed in the home. Fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, and carbon monoxide are operable at time of inspection. LPA observed the home to be orderly, central air and heating available. The licensee uses a cell phone for the license day care. Licensee was advised the cell phone shall be charged and available during daycare hours. LPA toured the outdoor play area and observed a trampoline in the rear yard, LPA informed wife that trampolines has caused injury to child in |
