25 | On 01/31/2023 at 9:21 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Deborah Lowe and Licensing Program Manager (LPM) Lisa Rios conducted an unannounced Case Management visit and met with Licensee, Rodeen Dunn. Also present was Staff #1 and Staff #2. Days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 6:30 pm.
LPA and LPM toured the home inside and outside and a census was taken. Upon arrival LPA and LPM observed 4 children in care. At 9:38 am LPA and LPM observed 6 children in care. At 10:20 am LPA and LPM observed child #7 arrive at facility.
Current facility sketch reviewed, and Licensee confirmed that Dining Room, Living Room, Living Room #2, Bedroom #1, Bedroom #2, and 2 Bathrooms are accessible to children. Per Licensee Bedroom #1 is the Master Bedroom and air mattress located in closet is used by Licensee. LPA and LPM observed Bedroom #1 to be set up for child care use, no adult furniture was observed.
Licensee confirmed Bedroom #3, Kitchen, and Laundry Room are off-limits and made inaccessible by use of children gates and Bedroom #3 uses locked doors and child gates. Per Licensee, Bedroom #3 is used as an office space. LPA and LPM observed desk and two loveseat style couches.
There is no swimming pool or other bodies of water on the premises. Per Licensee there are no firearms or ammunition on the premises. All poisons are kept in a locked storage area. No poisons were observed during the inspection. Detergents, cleaning compounds, medication and other hazardous items are made inaccessible.
Bathroom #1 was observed two under counter cabinets and three drawers. LPA Lowe observed under the cabinets to be empty and one drawer was observed with 2 hair brushes, one drawer observed with paper |
