On 5/25/23, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Veronica Wheatley conducted an unannounced inspection to the facility for the purpose of an annual/required inspection. Upon arrival, LPA met with owner / director Gyoungok Park. There was no school-age children at the facility at the time of the inspection as they are at school.

The facility serves school age children from ages 6 through 12 years and hours of operation are Monday to Friday. LPA observed the following through the walk through of the facility: The child care center appears clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair at all times.

There is one large room for school age children on one side of the child care center and the facility appears clean and in good repair at all times to ensure the safety and well-being of children, employees and visitors. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, poisons and other items are observed inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment appears in good condition, free of sharp and/or loose parts. All toilets, hand washing items appear safe and in operating condition. Today, the kitchen, food preparation and storage areas appear clean, free of litter. All storage containers for solid waste have tight fitting covers and drinking water is made readily available inside and outside the facility. However LPA cited deficiencies for the kitchen on May 16, 2023.

The outdoor play yard was inspected and surfaces are free of debris and hazardous items. The areas around and under climbing equipment have sufficient cushioning to absorb child's fall. The facility maintains compliance with staff-child ratios. Menus are observed to be posted in advance and visible for parents. The facility has operating carbon/smoke detector and in good condition. The facility is equipped with several 2A10BC fire extinguishers and last fire drill conducted . There is a physically separate outdoor activity space provided for school-age children. LPA observed current CPR/Pediatric First Aid valid through July 2023 .
