13 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Reiko Jones-Modeste conducted an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings for the allegations above via TELE_INSPECTION using FACETIME due to SOE. LPA met with Program Coordinator; Jessica Quintero, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 10 children in care including two Teaching Assistants. During the course of this investigation LPA observed children during snack time, restroom break and class instruction(distance learning).
During confidential interview S6 confirmed all adult staff have criminal clearance to work in the facility. S6 also provided Department of Justice confirmations for several staff members. In addition, C3 and C4 confirmed during confidential interview the alleged does not work in the facility. No declarations were made during confidential interviews with parents. In addition, LPA observed school-aged children in care physically distanced in the classroom. LPA also observed the YMCA Executive offices adjacent to the facility with at least two barricaded doors as well as closed-circuit cameras. LPA did not observe the alleged in the children's facility. |
