Licensing Program Analysts (LPA's) Ashley Calderon and Susann Sanchez conducted an unannounced Case Management Incident inspection. This inspection is regarding incident that was reported to the department on March 18,2024. LPAs met with Site Supervisor Ariana Chavez. Tour was given and census was taken.

On 3/18/24, facility reported to licensing a Viral Gastroenteritis Outbreak, infection per Site Supervisor Ariana Chavez time frame was from March 4, 2024 - April 15, 2024. Facility reported a total of 63 cases between children and staff.

To ensure health and safety the facility minimized toys usage and rotated toys and divided the bathroom to separate classrooms. On 3/18/24, Facility notified the Department of Public Health (DPH), DPH opened a case and facility were in contact with DPH conducting daily phone appointments and case was closed on 4/17/24. Site Supervisor Ariana Chavez emailed department documentation's of outbreak from DPH. LPA Susann Sanchez interviewed parents and parents informed LPA that facility were taking safety precautions to minimize risk at the time of the outbreak.

Per California Code of Regulations, Title 22, Division 12, no deficiency cited during todays interview.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted with Site Supervisor Ariana Chavez
