Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Mora conducted a complaint inspection to investigate the above complaint allegation. LPA met with Cindy O'Neill, Director, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility at approximately 12:05 PM. LPA observed 17 children from Room 2 & 3 with 05 staff in nap room and 05 children with 01 staff in Room 1.
During the course of this inspection LPA interviewed facility staff. LPA obtained a copy of the Identification and Emergency Form for child. LPA obtained copies of injury reports. LPA also obtained a copy of the Biting & Discipline Policy from the Parent Handbook.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is unsubstantiated. There is insufficient information to support the allegation that staff do not prevent children from engaging in appropriate interactions.
A Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Exit interview was conducted with Director, Cindy O'Neill. Appeal rights provided.
