25 | On 10/25/2024, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA was greeted by licensee, Manuela Mendoza. LPA observed 1 infant and 2 Caregiver. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 5 AM to 6 PM.
This is a single-story house containing a living room, kitchen, dining area, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and den.
The day care takes place in the living room, kitchen, dining area, den (converted garage), den bathroom and rear/side yard.
Per Licensee, there are 6 adults living in the home (Licensee, husband, 4 adult children. All has criminal record clearance). The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working land line and cellular telephones. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, firearm on the premise is locked. LPA verified ammunition is stored and locked separately from firearm. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 05/17/26. Per Licensee, there are no pets on the premises. Outdoor play areas are fenced. Last disaster drill documented and conducted on 10/18/2024. Licensee provides breakfast, snacks and lunch for the children.
