25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez conducted an unannounced random inspection to the above facility. LPA met with Ramona Viramontes, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection, were Licensee's two assistants. The licensee states that she currently has 20 children enrolled. During inspection there were three children and one infant were present. A current children’s roster is available and is current.
This is a one-story home which consists of three bedrooms, two bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living with a fireplace that is fenced off, garage, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use the bathroom (between kitchen and kids room), living room, kitchen, and dining room areas. Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: bedrooms, master bathroom, and the garage. The front yard is also off-limits. The licensee provides food for children in care.
The licensee states that one adults and no children currently live in the home. Licensee states that she currently has three assistant. All individuals present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in a licensed home. Per licensee, there are no weapons, firearms or bodies of water on the premises.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that children use, were inspected for safety, comfort, cleanliness, telephone service, ventilation and heating (central). The following was observed and reviewed during this inspection.
PHYSICAL PLANT
Detergents, cleaning compounds, medications, and other items which could pose a danger are inaccessible to children and are keep in the garage.PAGE - 01 of 03 |
