13 | On February 7, 2024, at 9:45A.M., Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Dayna Chambers conducted an unannounced complaint inspection to investigate the above allegation. LPA met with Licensee Ramona Viramontes. LPA observed 3 children upon arrival. Also present was Mirabel Rodriguez, assistant. During inspection, LPA reviewed children’s files, reviewed documents, conducted interviews, and obtained a current LIC9040 Roster. During inspection, LPA observed the home to be organized and clean.
Through interviews, record reviews, and observations, there have not been any enrolled children or staff with a case of lice since before 12/25/2020. LPA reviewed licensee’s records. LPA interviewed staff and licensee who took steps to notify the parents and disinfect on a daily basis during that period of time. In addition, the licensee took the child to an establishment to assist with removal of lice to assist the parent.
Based on interviews conducted, the above allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore these allegations are unsubstantiated. Exit interview was conducted with Ramona Viramontes, Licensee. The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days.
