25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Warren Birks conducted an unannounced Case Management Incident inspection. LPA met with Candyce Brizzolara who assisted with the inspection. The purpose of this inspection is to observe areas that were notated on a recent fire inspection. Note: These areas are not associated with the preschool and physically separate and off limits.
LPA observed a kitchen and sanctuary area (on the North side of the building) that is separate from the preschool. The area is off limits to the preschool and is not in use (except for long term storage space). LPA toured the areas and observed no pest, rodents or hazards that affect the preschool at this time.
However, LPA informed Director Brizzolara to ensure that the north side kitchen and sanctuary areas continue to remain inaccessible and off limits. LPA also advised Director to not store pet food or perishable items in those areas as it may attract pest (especially since the area is dark and goes unused for long periods of time). Director Brizzolara indicated that the facility uses a pest control service monthly and provide documentation.
During the inspection LPA also conducted an inspection of the actual preschool and observed the preschool appearing to be clean, safe and free of hazards.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Director Candyce Brizzolara.. |
