25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lissete Gonzalez conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 04/26/2022. LPA arrived at the facility at 11:55AM and met with Alberto Esquer and Diana Esquer, Licensees who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Per Licensee, operation hours are 7:00AM to 6:00PM. There are twelve (12) children that are currently enrolled. A current children’s roster was available for review. There were eight (08) children present upon arrival, one (01) being and infant.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, front yard and backyard (fenced). The children use the day care area (rear/family room), rear bedroom, bathroom (located in the rear of the home), the living room, dining room, and front yard (fenced). Areas off limits to children and parents include the garage, back yard, kitchen, office, master bedroom and master bathroom. The licensees provide food for children in care.
Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated
Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. There is telephone service via a landline. There is ventilation and heating (open face heaters observed to be barricaded). Safe toys play equipment and materials were observed.
