On 03/12/2024 Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Mary Silva conducted a subsequent complaint inspection to conclude the investigation regarding the above complaint allegations. The purpose of the inspection was explained. LPA met with Administrator Laura Borja, and Child Development Facilities Licensing Planner, Kym Allen who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. There was a total of 12 children present and two staff.

Complainant alleged that staff pulled the children by the arm and staff yell at children.
During the course of this investigation, LPA obtained a copy of the facility roster, personnel report, and designation of responsibility form. Interviews were also conducted with the Child Development Facilities Licensing Planner, two staff, parents/guardians of children enrolled and two day care children. There were no disclosures made during interviews to corroborate the alleged allegations.

Although the allegations may have happened or are valid there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are unsubstantiated.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Appeal rights were provided.
