First aid kits are kept in classroom cabinets, directors office and in the hallway. Carbon monoxide detectors and smoke detectors are present in the facility. The valve on the required 2A 10BC fire extinguisher located in the classrooms and hall way indicates fully charged and serviced on 3/5/2020.

Outdoor playground equipment is in safe condition, free of sharp, lose or pointed parts. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. All areas around or under high climbing equipment, slides, and similar equipment are cushioned with material that absorbs a fall and adequate shade in the play yard

FACILITY RECORDS- All individuals present have obtained a criminal record clearance or criminal record exemption. There is at least one person trained in CPR and Pediatric First Aid present during this inspection. The name of the child care center director or fully qualified teacher(s) designated to act in the director's absence is on file. Educational background, training, and/or experience for each staff present are on file and were reviewed. LPA observed Staff 1's file missing Child Development Curriculum three units.

In review of children’s records, files contain information including, but not limited to the following: Name, address and telephone number of the child's authorized representative and of relatives or others who can assume responsibility for the child if the authorized representative cannot be reached when necessary. The service needs and plan documentation for Child 4 needs to be updated ( Last updated June 2019).

Incidental Medial Services (IMS). Director states that prescription medications are administered. Medication is stored in a locked box in Directors office and Classrooms inaccessible to children. Medications administered can include prescription inhalers and Epi-Pens. Therefore, the facility does offer Incidental Medial Services

LPA advised Director to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.

LPAs issued the Confidential Names List (LIC 811) to the licensee during this inspection. The Confidential Names List documents the children’s and staff files that were reviewed during this inspection.
