All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins had tight-fitting covers. All floors were observed to be clean and safe. Disinfectants, cleaning solutions, medications and other items that are dangerous to children, were inaccessible.
The outdoor play area were inspected and is fully fenced. Required shade, drinking water and fencing were inspected. Drinking water is available outdoors for children via a water jug and disposable cups. The outdoor play area was inspected for bodies of water; no bodies of water were observed.
Children’s files were reviewed for proper documentation and found to be complete. Staff files were reviewed. Staff #6 the Health Screening (LIC 503) form was not on file. Staff #1, Staff #3 Staff #7 had expired AB 1207 mandated reporting training. All staff present are fingerprint cleared. LPAs verified the opening and closing staff have proof of current Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification. The child care center director and teacher(s) have been verified to be fully qualified and assistant director is qualified to act in director's behalf.
