Director, Hytosha Hodges-McDaniels arrived at approximately at 3 pm during the tour. This is a preschool age program licensed for 84 children which operates Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Per the Office Coordinator there are 78 children enrolled.

The following classrooms were inspected, Classroom 1 (young 2-year-olds), Classroom 2 (2-year-olds), Classroom 3 (young 3-year-olds), Classroom 4 (3-year-olds), Classroom 5 (young 4-year-olds), Classroom 6 (4-year-olds), Classroom 7 (TK). Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 Regulations. All children were observed to be under supervision, including visual. All materials and surfaces accessible to children are toxic free.

The facility provides AM & PM snacks and lunch is provided by food service from the Foothill Country Day School. Drinking water is brought from home and filtered water purifier for refills as needed. LPA observed menus posted in the classroom parent board and are also sent home to parents each week. The kitchen was inspected and was found to be clean and in order. LPA observed that there are smoke detectors that are connected to the elementary school and are tested throughout the year. LPA observed and tested carbon monoxide detectors in each classroom and are operable. LPA observed fire extinguishers in each classroom that were last serviced on October 18, 2022. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.

Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Director, Hytosha Hodges-McDaniels.
