Personal Rights - Care providers yelled at day care children.
Supervision - Day care children were not adequately supervised while in care.

On 10/24/2022 at 10:40 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Katrina Chicote met with Maria Munoz, Licensee, for the purpose of an unannounced complaint investigation to deliver findings for the above allegations. LPA did not observe any children present during today's inspection. There were other adults present during today's inspection who all have criminal record clearance. A1, Licesnee's Assistant, assisted in translation as Licensee is Native Spanish speaker.

During the course of the investigation, LPA made observations at the facility during multiple visits and obseved various toys such as large legos, plastic toy trucks, plastic kitchen, and outdoor play equipment all well maintained available for children and area where children have access to, living room and kitchen, were well maintained and floor free of hazards, counters clutter free, and toys placed in corner of room making it out of the walkway. LPA observed A1 cleaning and mopping during today's inspection. LPA interviewed Licensee, other adults, parents, and children and there was no information provided during the interviews supporting the allegations. Interviews provide consistent statements in regards to food being provided and parents being satisfied with level of care and expressed no supervision or cleaninless concerns.

This agency has investigated the above complaint and found that although the allegations may have happened or is valid; based on observations and interviews there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore at this time the allegations are deemed UNSUBSTANTIATED.

The facility was found in compliance per Title 22 regulations, there will be no deficiencies cited today 10/24/2022.

A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.

Exit interview was conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee (or facility representative), Maria Munoz.
