An unannounced Annual Required Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) A. Lucero and B. Baluyot. LPAs met with licensee Kulwant Cheema who guided LPAs on a tour of the facility. This is a two story, four bedroom, three bedroom home. Currently residing in the home are three adults (Licensee and two adult children) and no minors. No other adults were present in the home at the time of inspection.
Areas accessible to children were inspected as follows: Den/bedroom area that has been converted into a day care area, dining area, one bathroom located in patio area, and part of the back yard.
Areas off limits include: Kitchen, living room, all of upstairs that consist of three bedrooms and two bathrooms, attached garage, front yard, and side of back yard.
Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA did not observe swimming pools or spas on the premises. The backyard is adequately fenced. There are age appropriate toys and equipment on the premises. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are present in the facility and in operational condition. Fire extinguisher indicates fully charged. LPAs observed a fire place in the living room that is inaccessible to children and observed that there is a children's gate at the base of the staircase to prevent children from accessing the upstairs.
