25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ariel Cazares and Jonah Myson conducted a plan of correction inspection on this date. The purpose of this inspection was to follow up on cited deficiencies and ensure these deficiencies were corrected in a timely manner. Upon arrival LPAs met with Licensee Brenda Enano and observed 4 children. A visit was conducted on 12/13/2019. The facility was cited for the following:
Operation of a family child care home-CCR 102417 (g) (5)- Pool fence did not meet height requirement and gate door was not self latching. On this date LPAs measured pool fence and tested the door and found the pool fence to be in compliance.
Availability of information regarding detecting and reporting child abuse and neglect:
Training for mandated reporter who is licensed day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility- HSC 1596.8662-Licensee provided LPA Myson proof of completion of mandated reporter training.
A licensed child day care facility shall provide to the parents or guardians of each child receiving services in the facility copies of any licensing report that documents any Type A citation that represents an immediate risk to the health, safety, or personal rights of children in care-1596.8595 (c) (1) (2)- LPAs conducted children's file review and observed the signed forms on file.
LPAs Ariel Cazares and Jonah Myson found that the plan of corrections have been met.
There were no deficiencies observed on this date. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Brenda Enano. A copy of this report and appeal rights were distributed and explained.The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00 |
