25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Warren Birks conducted an unannounced Case Management-Incident inspection. This inspection is regarding incident that took place on June 24, 2021. Licensing Program Analyst met with Director Regina Ramirez during the inspection.
LPA was informed by Director Ramirez that the facility was closed on June 24, 2021 due to a smell coming from the air conditioning unit. Note: Later the air conditioning unit was repaired and is working with no issues.
LPA informed Director Ramirez that an incident report should have been submitted within 24 hours due to the closure of the facility. Director indicated that she did not know that an incident report was required for this particular issue.
The facility was cited for reporting requirements as the incident was not reported to Child Care Licensing within the required 24 hours. Director Ramirez indicated she will submit an incident report to Child Care Licensing.
Note: The facility appears to be in good condition free of any hazards in regards to the air conditioning.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Director Ramirez |
