32 | appropriate sanitation procedures including gloves, wipes, clean diaper and hand-washing for student and teacher.
Based on interviews with staff, informal policy surrounding toilet-training and general bathroom visits states, teachers are to assist with bathroom visits only when asked or when there is a health and safety concern. It is quite reasonable to assume some children who use the restroom without assistance and children who are actively being toilet-trained may or may not wipe themselves completely clean. During confidential interview with the RP, LPA confirmed the child in question was indeed being toilet-trained by staff.
Regarding naptime, LPA confirmed noise level in Guppie classroom during naptime was appropriate. On 12/20/19 and 2/5/20 LPA observed (Guppie) classroom during naptime in significant compliance with a small radio playing soft instrumental music, LPA determined this allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED. In addition, during confidential interview with parents, LPA confirmed parents were satisfied with the toilet-training and napping policies.
Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore the allegation is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
