25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Judy Mora conducted an unannounced Case Management - Deficiencies inspection on this day. LPA met with Director Maria Rodriguez, who guided analyst on a tour of the facility.
The purpose of this visit was to ensure that the Licensee is in compliance with Title 22 regulations.
Staff interviews were conducted on 12/06/2019. During interviews it was disclosed that infant bedding and sheets are only washed on Tuesdays. This does not meet the requirement of Title 22 regulations and poses a potential risk to the health and safety of children in care. The regulation states the following:
101438.1(e) - Infant Care General Sanitation: Linens laundered by the center shall be washed and sanitized at least daily, or more often if necessary. Such linens shall include, but not be limited to, bedding, towels and washcloths used on or by infants.
The deficiency listed on the following page was observed by the LPA and is being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Please see attached LIC 809D for deficiency that is being cited and needs to be cleared to protect the children’s health & safety.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
