32 | All kitchen areas/food preparation areas and food storage areas are kept clean and are free of litter, rubbish and rodents and/or any other vermin. Cabinets are available for storage. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements.
There are two separate playgrounds for preschool and toddlers. LPA inspected both playgrounds and the outdoor equipment for safety, cushioning material, good repair and age appropriateness. Required shade and fencing were inspected. No hazards were observed. Outdoor drinking water is available in form of water jugs and personal water bottles.
Staff Records were reviewed to ensure that a health screening report is on file. Children’s Records were reviewed to ensure that Identification and Emergency form and a medical assessment are on file. Criminal Records Clearance for adults and verification of CPR/First Aid and health preventative practices documentation was reviewed.
This facility provides Incidental Medical Services – IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. Exit interview was conducted with Facility Representatives. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100. |
