32 | Menus were reviewed for availability, quantity and appropriateness to children in care. The program begins its day with lunch provided by Options Food Program which follows mandated Federal Food Guidelines. Meal menus, license, car seat law, parents' rights for centers, emergency disaster plan and all other posting requirements were observed.
Per staff, there are no children receiving IMS services at this time. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
