25 | On November 8, 2022, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensee, Josephina Alsourougi who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 3 infants in care with licensee and assistant. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
This is a single story house with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom, laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care, living room, family room, dining room, kitchen, completely fenced rear yard and front yard. There is a in ground pool located in the back yard. The pool is surrounded by a 5” foot pool fence and a wall. During this inspection LPA observed two gates that surround the pool that swing away and are self-latching with locks (unlocked) further securing the gates. The fence meets Title 22 Regulations.
The day care takes place in living room, restroom and completely fenced in front yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
