25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced annual inspection in Spanish to the above facility on 01/31/2023. LPA arrived at the facility at 10:30AM and met with Rosa Reynaga, Licensee who guided Analyst on a tour of the facility. Also present during this inspection, was Maria Pascual, Licensee’s Assistant. Per Licensee, operation hours are 5:30AM to 5:30PM. There are 13 children that are currently enrolled. A current children’s roster was available for review. There were six children present, four being infants, upon arrival.
The home is a two story that consists of 5 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The following areas are used for day-care: Downstairs including the living room, 2 Bedrooms (library room & nap room), dining room, kitchen, bathroom, and the backyard. Off limit areas to parents and children include: The second floor (3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom), detached garage and laundry room. The backyard was observed to be properly fenced. The licensee provides food for children in care.
Individuals who reside in the home were noted and discussed. Per Licensee, they currently have one assistant.
Licensee was reminded that all adults 18 and over living or working in the home, including employees and volunteers, must obtain a criminal record clearance or exemption, or transfer their existing clearance or exemption, prior to initial presence in a licensed Family Child Care Home. A civil penalty of $100.00 minimum/day up to $500.00 maximum per day/per person will be assessed if this regulation is violated
Licensee states that there are no firearms stored in the home. All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. There is telephone service via a landline. There is ventilation and heating. |
