25 | An unannounced Case Management - Deficiencies Inspection was conducted on this date by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Alanna Gontarek. Upon arrival, LPA met with Sara Gurley, Director/Owner, who guided LPA on a tour of the facility. Census was taken.
Beginning tour, at 9:44 a.m., during the inspection, LPA observed all classrooms (Classrooms #'s 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) to have not labeled expiration dates on food containers containing Cheeze-Its, Gold Fish, and Cheerios. Pictures taken of food containers in all rooms. LPA advised Director to have staff either label the containers with the expiration dates or use ZipLoc bags and have staff write the expiration dates on bags when removing food from its original containers.
During tour, at 9:53 a.m., LPA observed trash can lids to not be tight-fitting. LPA observed the trash cans to contain food waste. LPA observed all other classrooms (Classroom #'s 1,2, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8) to not have tight-fitting lids or no lids at all. Pictures were taken.
The following are being cited in accordance to Title 22 of the California Code of Regulations. Please refer to 809D for documentation of deficiencies.
Exit interview was conducted with Sara Gurley, Director/Owner at 5:23 p.m. Appeal Rights and procedures explained.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
