Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) conducted an unnanounced Required Annual inspection for the purpose of ensuring that the . LPA met with Marla Antonini, Licensee, who provided tour of the facility. This is a single story home consisting of 4 bedrooms and 1 bath, a sun room (main childcare area), an attached garage, backyard and front yard. There were 13 children present including 2 infants and 2 school age children. Also present was Kylie Farmer, assistant. All adults present are associated and fingerprint cleared. Licensee’s operating hours are Monday-Friday 7am-5:30pm.

All areas identified on the facility sketch, including the areas that are off limits to children were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness.

Off limit areas include 2 bedrooms, attached garage and front yard and side yard. LPA observed safety knobs on bedroom doors making bedrooms inaccessible to children in care.

Children use the bathroom adjacent to the main care area. Hygiene products are kept in a bathroom cabinet secured with a safety lock. LPAs reminded the licensee that all products must be be inaccessible to children in care. The home has central air and heat. LPA observed age appropriate toys and learning materials for children. Children nap on mats in the main care area. Infant play yards are available in the living room for infants to nap in.
Per licensee, the living room that is used as isolation area if children are ill.

Due to time constraints, this inspection will be completed at a later date. Notice of site visit shall be posted for 30 days.
