Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Seung Lee conducted an unannounced required year inspection. LPA met with designated facility Director, Cynthia Reimers. This facility also has an infant license #198012252 located on the same premises. This Friday is open Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

During the inspection LPA observed a total of 36 children with 6 staff members at the outside play area. Teacher-child ratios were observed to be in accordance with Title 22 regulations. Pre director the preschool program currently use 4 classrooms. All children were observed to be under visual supervision of a teacher at all times.

The children for this preschool program are signed in by parents outside the main entrance. The children are then brought to their classroom by the parent. The main entrance was observed to be locked. The Director stated that the entrance is locked at all times but parents of enrolled children in care are given the gate code so they can enter the facility after signing in their child. LPA Lee also observed the facility phone number by the entrance so visitors can call the facility to open the front door.

LPA observed the facility to be clean, safe, sanitary and in good repair. Furniture and equipment were inspected for good repair, free of sharp, loose, or pointed parts. All indoor classrooms were inspected to ensure that the floors have a surface that is safe and clean. All toilets and hand washing facilities are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. The children's restrooms are located in between each classroom. There is a separate ill isolation area and restroom next to the Director's office and located near the entrance of the facility. This office is used as an isolation area. Parents are contacted immediately when children are determined to be ill and staff are ensuring that children with obvious symptoms of illness are not being accepted.
