25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Susann Sanchez conducted a case management inspection to discuss COVID-19 precautionary measures. LPA met with Yolanda Duckett, Licensee gave LPA a tour of the facility. LPA observed 5 children, 2 school age children and 3 staff members present during the inspection.
During today's inspection LPA Sanchez discussed COVID-19 precautionary measures with Licensee and observed that measures are still being implemented.
Per Licensee parents are dropping off children outside. Children are still being screened daily before entering the home. Facility has extra masks, gloves, sanitizer and cleaning supplies. Children and staff wear face coverings during the day. Per Licensee children wash hands as they enter the home daily. Toys and materials are sanitized daily. Toy are separated by baskets. Licensee states that bathrooms are sanitized six times a day and high touch areas are sanitized as well. Children have cubbies for their personal belongings and are kept outside the facility for the older children. Younger children have their cubbies inside. Per Licensee bedding is washed daily by the Licensee. The isolation area for children who are ill is in the living room. Facility still has advised posting up for parents, staff and children. There is a sink outside so children and staff can wash their hands before entering the facility.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit made by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00. Exit interview was conducted with Yolanda Duckett, Licensee, including, but not limited to Appeal Procedures, Site Visit and Initial Appeal Rights.
