25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Ariel Cazares and Alicia Bailey conducted an announced case management inspection to the licensed daycare. Currently the facility is closed this week for summer break. Operation will resume on Monday, August 5, 2019. LPAs toured the home and observed no children in care. Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 6:30am to 7:00pm.
LPAs inspected the areas that will be used by the daycare children. There is a den, the living room, bathroom, and eating nook inside the home that will be primarily used for children. The converted garage was inspected and found to be in compliance and free from hazards. Licensee agrees that the garage will not be used for eating, sleeping, or toileting and to only be used as additional activity space.
LPAs did not observe any hazards or violations in the home. There is a fire clearance on file for the facility. Licensee's capacity increase application is complete and all previously cited deficiencies have been cleared. LPA reviewed deficiencies cited this year with licensee and advised of how to stay in compliance. The facility is currently in compliance as of this inspection. LPA redirected licensee to the Department's website where regulations can be found, along with other resources. Www.ccld.ca.gov
