32 | In the second allegation the complainant stated that the facility has hazardous items in children's play area. Complainant stated that the hazardous item is a folding bed. Per Licensee, folding bed has wheels and is removed once children start arriving to the facility. Based on interviews with staff (2), parents (4) and children (4) there was no disclosures indicting that there is a hazardous item in the living room. Based on interviews, the above allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore these allegation are unsubstantiated.
In the third allegation complainant stated that Licensee did not ensure children had safe drinking water. During interview with Licensee, Licensee stated that she gives the children bottled or facet water. There is no regulation against facet water. Based on interviews with staff (2), parents (4) and children (4) there was no disclosures indicting that the water is unsafe. Based on interviews, the above allegation is unsubstantiated. Although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violation did or did not occur, therefore these allegation are unsubstantiated.
Exit interview was conducted with Licensee Juanita Clark, via tele-inspection, during which appeal rights were explained. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights will be sent to the licensee via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the licensee's signature |
