13 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs), T. Tran and A. Wallin conducted an unannounced subsequent complaint visit for the purpose of concluding the above complaint allegations. Upon arrival, LPAs met with Site Supervisor, Latisha Edwards and we toured the facility. Proper care and supervision were observed.
During today's visit, LPAs conducted interviews with staff and children. Based upon the evidence obtained through the course of interviews and observation, none of the interviewed parties have any concerns with the allegation of staff handled children in a rough. And staff denied of the personal rights allegation of staff was not properly supervised a child in care causing child to have an unexplained injury on the ear did not happen at the site. Therefore, due to the insufficient evidence to support or disprove the above allegations occurred at the facility, both personal rights allegations have been determined unsubstantiated. Unsubstantiated – A finding that the complaint is unsubstantiated means that although the allegation may have happened or is valid, there is not a preponderance of the evidence to prove that the alleged violation occurred.
No deficiency was cited at this time. A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days.
Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative, Latisha Edwards.
