This was a case management inspection conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Ariel Cazares, due to COVID-19 and precautionary measures. This case management inspection was conducted with Director Renae Plant via a tele-inspection by use of FaceTime for the purpose of inspecting additional areas to be added to the current licensed facility.

During this tele-inspection the director took LPA on a tour of areas currently not included in the license. These areas referred to as “Little Knights” include 2 indoor classrooms, 1 children’s restroom, and an outdoor yard space. During this tour the following was observed:

At 12:15 pm the tour of the outdoor space began. At 12:17pm, the director guided LPA through 3 indoor classroom spaces. Room #2 has one children’s restroom that allows for individual privacy. Director showed LPA the smoke/carbon monoxide system that is hardwired throughout the facility. LPA did not observe any immediate hazards or violations. The classrooms have appropriate furniture and equipment, along with supplies for children. LPA requested a photo be sent of the fire extinguisher. LPA informed director that the information and inspection details will be reviewed with management for approval of adding the space to the license.

Exit interview was conducted with Director Renae Plant, via tele-inspection. This report along with a copy of the appeal rights will be sent to the director via email with a read receipt or confirmation of receipt of email, which will act as the Applicants/Licensee’s signature. A copy of the signed report will also be sent to the Department.
