25 | An unannounced Annual Inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Jennifer Hua. LPA met with licensee Mayela Gil. Licensee guided LPA on a tour of the facility of both indoors and outdoors. This is a two story, four bedroom, two and one half bathroom home. Upon arrival, LPA observed 1 child in care. At 8:25 another child was dropped off. No other adults were present at the time of inspection. Per licensee, there are 4 adults and 2 minors residing in the home. All adults have fingerprint clearance.
Areas accessible to children were inspected as follows: Den that has been converted into a day care area, entry way, one half bathroom located downstairs, back yard, and kitchen.
Areas off limits include: Formal living room, dining area, all of upstairs that consists of four bedrooms, two bathrooms, front yard and attached garage.
Licensee states that there are no weapons or firearms on the premises. LPA did observe a spa on the premise. Per licensee, the spa is dry (without water) and has a cover that is taught (does not slide) and the cover is chained and are locked (key and lock). LPA also observed a dried fountain in the front yard that is also fenced off to prevent the children from gaining access. The backyard is adequately fenced.There is also a fountain in the backyard but it is use as a planter. There are age appropriate toys and equipment on the premises. The smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are present in the facility and are operational. Fire extinguisher is present in the facility. It is fully charged and was serviced on 9/25/19 as observed on service tag
