32 | LPAs observed all bottles and cups to be labeled. Counter tops were clean and free of clutter or standing food. Cleaning compounds are inaccessible. All storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, have tight fitting covers.
Outdoor playground equipment was observed to be in a safe condition. All areas around or under high climbing equipment and slides shall be cushioned with material that absorbs a fall. There is adequate shade in the play yard. LPAs observed water igloos available outdoors. Licensing staff observed a staff to bring a blanket outside during playtime for the infants that are unable to walk. Outdoor playground equipment was observed to be in a safe condition. Last documented disaster drill was conducted on 10/17/2019.
This facility already offers Incidental Medial Services (IMS) to children that require it. Policy for IMS services already on file per Director. Staff Records was reviewed to ensure that Infant Teacher present are qualified with Criminal Records Clearance and verification of CPR/First Aid. Children’s Records were reviewed to ensure that Identification and Emergency form and a Needs and Services Plan are on file.
No deficiencies are being cited in accordance with California Code of Regulations Title 22.
Exit interview was conducted with Director, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.
The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213) – must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing representative. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
