An unannounced required annual inspection was conducted by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Bardo Baluyot. LPA met with Teacher/Sub, Daniel Moreno. The facility consists of a portable that was identified on the facility sketch and inspected. The facility operates on Maybrook Elementary School through Options for Learning while Jordan Elementary campus is under construction. LPA Baluyot visited Jordan location yesterday 6/15/21. Per Mr. Moreno, Jordan SC relocated here about one month prior. LPA observed two children present as well as Associate Teacher, Crystal Cabrera.Program runs a regular program during the school year as well as operates summer session from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM

Furniture and equipment were inspected for age appropriateness and its condition. Telephone service, heating, lighting and ventilation were evaluated. Storage space/area for children's belongings was observed. The condition and age appropriateness of children’s sinks and toilets were inspected. The restrooms allow for individual privacy. LPA evaluated general sanitation and cleanliness of facility. Availability of indoor and outdoor drinking water was observed in form of a water jug and paper cups. Existing water fountains attached to classroom sinks were presently covered as a precaution due to COVID. Carbon Monoxide/Smoke combination detector was tested and functioning. Parents provide all food and snacks. A review of cleaning supplies was done and observed in the staff restroom in locked cabinet. First aid supplies are kept in a locked cabinet where medication is kept.

Outdoor area was inspected for safety. There are large trees located near the portable that provide shade and benched tables are available for rest. Play area was inspected for hazards and inaccessibility to bodies of water.

LPA did not observe any hazards or need for repair. Program is exempt from square-footage requirement. Documentation is on file. After a complete inspection of the facility, there were no deficiencies observed on this date according to California Code of Regulations Title 22 Division 12.

This facility does provide Incidental Medical Services - IMS but per staff, they do not have any currently. First Aid supplies were inventoried.

Teacher child ratios were observed and staff names recorded. Care and supervision was evaluated and was determined that basic needs of children are being met.
