Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Crystal Green and Bardo Baluyot conducted an unannounced annual inspection. LPAs met with Bailey Tripp, Director who assisted LPAs with a tour of the facility. This is a preschool program licensed for 64 preschoolers which operate Monday – Friday from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This facility is located on a church property which also has a private elementary school (grades K - 6th) on the premises.

This is a preschool program which consists of 5 classrooms; Room 1, Room 2, Room 3, Room 4, and Room 5. Upon arrival, LPAs observed there to be 26 preschoolers with 5 staff members on the outside play area. In Room 4, LPAs observed there to be 10 children with 2 staff members. In Room 5, LPAs observed 11 preschoolers with 3 staff members. Teacher-child ratios were observed, and staff names were recorded. All children were observed by licensing staff to be under visual supervision of a teacher at all times. Sign in and out sheets were reviewed to ensure that the person who signs the child in and out uses their full legal signature and records the time of the day.

Furniture and equipment were inspected to ensure that they are in good condition. Napping equipment was inspected for good condition, appropriate storage, and cleanliness. LPAs observed each child to have their individual storage cubby located outside the classrooms. Toilets and sinks were observed to be in safe and sanitary operating conditions. LPAs observed each classroom to have drinking water available via water cooler and paper cups. At this time, the Directors office is used as an isolation area for ill children. Parents are contacted immediately when children are determined to be ill.

The facility provides AM snack and PM snack. The children bring their own lunches. Facility has a refrigerator and storage space available to store snacks. Food preparation and storage areas are clean and free of litter.

Outdoor playground equipment was observed to be in a safe condition. The surface of the outdoor activity space is maintained in a safe condition and is free of hazards. Climbing equipment observed is surrounded by rubber surfaces. The facility also has adequate shade available outside. LPAs observed there to be drinking water available outside via water fountains.

Staff Records was reviewed to ensure that each file contains a Personnel Record, Qualifications and verification of CPR/First Aid and health preventative practices documentation. Children’s Records was reviewed to ensure that each child has an Emergency and Identification form on file.

This facility provides Incidental Medical Services- IMS. LPA reviewed storage of medication and equipment/supplies, and reviewed children’s, personnel, and administrative records. LPA advised the director about the Child Care Advocate Program which provides the latest email updates regarding resources and quarterly information by signing up through email at: childcareadvocatesprogram@dss.ca.gov. Access to forms and regulations as well as quarterly updates is available at: www.ccld.ca.gov

At this time the facility is in compliance with Title 22 no deficiencies cited.



The exit interview was conducted with Director, including, but not limited to Provider Rights, Appeal Procedures and Agencies Consultative Role.

The Notice of Site Visit (LIC 9213)must remain posted for 30 days during the hours of operation after each site visit by a licensing reprehensive. Failure to maintain posting as required will result in a civil penalty of $100.00.
