32 | Information from the complaint indicates that the facility does not feed the infants properly and props the bottle up when feeding infants.
During interview, Director states that staff hold the infant and hold their bottle while feeding. Staff #3 states that they hold the infant to feed, or if the infant is able, the infant will hold the bottle themselves to feed. LPAs discussed with Director to ensure that all staff understand that if they infant is to be bottle fed, that the bottle should never be propped up and should always be held by either a staff member or the infant themselves if capable. During today's tour, Licensing staff observed infants in Room 14a holding their own bottle and feeding themselves. Licensee states that we cover infant feeding and that "holding the babies' is important and was just discussed in the last meeting.
