25 | Inspection conducted in Spanish
On June 6, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by assistant Patricia Duran and Ana Hernandez. Licensee was not present in the home during the inspection. LPA observed 7 children in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7AM to 5PM.
This is a single-story house with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen and completely fenced in rear yard. There is laundry area with chemicals and cleaning compounds inaccessible to children in care.
The day care takes place in living room, dining room, bathroom near kitchen and rear yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working telephone.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per assistant, there are no firearms on the premises. Assistants have current First Aid and CPR, expires 12/03/25.
LPA reviewed children files; files were found to be complete. LPA reviewed staff files; files were found to be complete. Children and staff names were documented on LIC811 (confidential page).
