25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPA) Joshua Ortega conducted an unannounced annual inspection to the above facility on 03/21/2025. LPA arrived at the facility at approximately 1:15 PM and met with Rosa Arreola Sierra , Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. Per Licensee, hours of operation are M-S 11:30PM-12:30AMpm, there are 13 children that are currently enrolled. A current children’s roster was available for review. There were 4 children upon arrival. Per Licensee, there is two assistant. All adults present in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance or exemption prior to working, residing or volunteering in the licensed childcare home.
This is a one-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, front yard (fenced) and backyard. LPA observed an additional dwelling unit located in the backyard. Per licensee, one additional bedroom and bathroom is located in the unit. Licensee also states that area and the backyard are off limits. Additional off limit areas include 2 bedrooms and kitchen area.
On limit areas accessible to children include :Living room, family room, bathroom, bedroom and front yard (fenced)
Off limit areas include: Kitchen, (1) bedroom, backyard and ADU located in backyard.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. Children nap in bedroom and per Licensee she or assistant sits in the room with the children while they nap. LPA observed napping cots and bedding that is placed in the children's cubbies. Per Licensee she launders the bedding every Friday or when needed. Children eat in the dining room. The licensee provides food for children in care.
Currently, children are using the front yard for outdoor play time. The outdoor play area was observed to be fenced. LPA observed that the outdoor yard has age appropriate toys, ride on toys , tricycles, shaded area, table and chairs for activities and play house and other materials for children to play with. LPA did not observe any objects that can pose a danger to children on the outdoor yard. The licensee states that supervision is always provided.
