25 | On February 16, 2024, at 9 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Required 3 Year inspection at the facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Upon arrival, LPA Long was greeted by licensee, Jessica Cruz. LPA observed 1 preschooler in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6AM to 6PM.
This is a single-story house with a living room, kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, enclosed patio and an attached garage that remains locked at all times.
The day care takes place in living room, kitchen, enclosed patio, 1 bedroom, bathroom and front yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Chemicals, poisons, and cleaning compounds are locked in the backyard shed inaccessible to children in care. Front yard is completely fenced. There is a pet dog in the backyard. Backyard is not used for care. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working cellular telephone.
Currently residing in the home are Licensee, spouse Phillip Cruz and 2 adult children Isaac Cruz and Giselle Cruz and minor child. All have criminal record clearance.
There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR which expires July 2025.
