25 | At 9:10 am Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Lilli Babcock conducted an unannounced required 1-year inspection to the above facility. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPA met with Licensee, Reham Behiri-Lopez, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. Per Licensee, there are 6 children currently enrolled. There was 2 children present upon arrival. The licensee was observed to be operating within the license capacity limitations.
The licensee states that 3 adults and 3 children currently live in the home. Per Licensee, there is one assistant in the facility. All adults living in the home have obtained a criminal record clearance.
This is a two-story home which consists of 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms upstairs, and downstairs contains 1 bedroom,1 bathroom, living room, dining room, family room, kitchen, and daycare room in the converted garage. Facility also contains a front yard and backyard which is fenced and divided into 2 areas (one for daycare to use and one that is off-limits).
Per licensee, areas off-limits to children and parents include the entire second floor, and 1 bedroom, dining room, family room, front yard and south and east part of fenced backyard downstairs. The children have access to kitchen, living room, one bathroom, daycare room in converted garage and the portion of backyard that is fenced off, next to the daycare room.
Licensee guided analyst on a tour of the facility at 9:30 am. During this visit, all areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were toured and inspected and the following was observed.
