25 | Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Yesenia Villa conducted an unannounced proof of correction inspection visit on this date. Present during this inspection were Licensees Hoy Caceres and Mauricio Caceres. All adults present during this inspection have obtained a criminal record, finger print clearance prior to working or being in contact with the children in care. LPA Villa observed (4) infants present with two adults. During the inspection three additional school age children arrived bringing the total census to (7) with two adults. The Licensee was observed to be within ratio during todays inspection.
LPA Villa conducted an annual random inspection on 09/25/19 where the Licensee was found in violation of the following Title 22 regulations and was cited accordingly.
Operation of a family childcare home: 102417(g)- Type (B), Operation of a family childcare home:102717(b)- Type (B), Childs Records: 102421(b)- Type (B), Staffing Ratio and Capacity: 102416.5 (e) -Type (A). LPA Villa verified the childrens records and the LIC9224 was observed in the childrens records. LPA Villa reminded licensee that the LIC9224 must be issued to all newly enrolled children for the next twelve months. LPA Villa also demonstrated to the licensee how to obtain the quarterly updates on the State cell phone. Licensee was subscribed to receive quarterly updates. During todays visit LPA Villa walked the home and verified the physical plant violations had been corrected. The restroom was observed to be clean and the restroom had been painted. The carpet in the childrens playroom and the carpet in the living room had been cleaned via shampoo per licensee. Licensee submitted pictures to the Department on 10/02/19. The licensee also obtained missing record from the parent. The licensee was observed to be within ratio during today's inspection. Proof of correction letters were issued for all deficiencies.LPA Villa also printed section 102416.5 Staffing Ratio and Capacity during inspection and provided an explanation of the regulations to both Licensees Hoy and Mauricio Caceres. An exit interview was conducted with Licensee Hoy Caceres. A notice of site visit was issued and licensee was advised failure to post for 30 business days will result in a $100.00 civil penalty fee. Appeal rights were issued and explained. |
