32 | Facility provides AM and PM snacks and lunch for the enrolled children. There is a full- size kitchen on the premises, which consists of two refrigerators, a sink, stove, and microwave. The kitchen appeared to be clean and free of rodents. No transportation is being conducted by the facility.
As a COVID- 19 precautionary measure, Director states that parents drop off and pick up will be conducted outside of the main entrance. Prior to accepting children, staff will conduct temperature checks and covid-19 pre-screening questionnaire. LPAs observed there to be a designated clean and dirty pens cup.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual- Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. During this inspection, Licensing staff obtained measurements for the (2) additional classrooms. Based on measurements obtained today, the new capacity for the preschool program will be fifty (50) preschoolers. An approved Fire Clearance has been received by the department.
The following correction will need to be made prior to submitting application for final approval. Correction will be due by 10/30/2021.
• Director will submit proof of the install child safety gate in the hallway to prevent access to the off-limit area of the church facility.
At 1:50 p.m., an exit interview was conducted with the Director, Ji Hee Suh. A copy of this report along with appeal rights and the Notice of Site Visit were provided to the Director. |
