25 | REQUIRED- 1 YEAR INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced required 1- year inspection to the above facility on 07/24/23. LPA arrived at the facility at 10:20 AM and met with Jenik Galoustian, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. A COVID 19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Also present during this inspection, were Sevan Manougian, Licensee’s Assistant/daughter and George Manougian, Licensee's husband. Per licensee, Jenik Galoustina facility hours are Monday to Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. LPA provided a copy of Entrance Checklist—Family Child Care Home (LIC126) to licensee.
This is a one story home located on the first level. The home consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining room, family room (FIREPLACE: which is inaccessible), garage, front yard, and backyard (fenced). The children use the bathroom in the hallway, living room, dining room, and front area of backyard (fenced). Per licensee, areas off limits to children and parents include: 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, family room, front yard, garage, and back of backyard (grass area). LPA did not observe any stairs in the home during this inspection. During this inspection individuals who reside in the home were discussed and notes on Confidential Name List (LIC811) and attached to this report. Per licensee, parents enter the home through the main entrance which leads to the living room.
All areas identified on the facility sketch that are accessible for children to use were inspected for safety, comfort, and cleanliness. At 10:30 a.m., Licensee took this LPA on a tour of the home. LPA was toured through the interior starting with the living room and dining room (daycare classrooms), LPA observed children toys, three high chairs, two pack n' plays, children tables and chairs in living room and dining room. Per licensee, she keeps the kitchen door closed all the times. LPA observed a child safety gate was installed in the hallway of daycare bathroom to make the off-limit areas inaccessible to the children. Next LPA toured the daycare bathroom and did not observe any hazards. Per licensee, children line up and under supervision walk through the family room to go to the backyard.
