25 | On Jun 5, 2023, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Monique Ayala conducted an unannounced Annual/Required 1 Year inspection at the above facility. Upon arrival LPA Ayala was greeted by licensee, Karla Flores. LPA observed 1 infant, 1 toddler and 2 preschool age children in care. Also present in the home was licensee's spouse, Juan Bautista. LPA observed Child Care Facility Roster. LPA observed 2 children files contained all required licensing documents. The licensee is operating within proper capacity and ratios. LPA observed licensee to be present at the home and providing adequate care and supervision. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
The home is a single story home with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, dinning room, kitchen and yard located in front of the main door/entrance. This home is located behind the front home.
The day care takes place in bedroom #1, living room, hallway bathroom and yard. The home is clean, orderly, comfortable and well ventilated.
Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and Carbon Monoxide, fully charged fire extinguisher and working telephone. There are several age appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. The licensee has current CPR and first aid that expires 06/06/2024.
The licensee has completed the online mandated reporter training at www.mandatedreporterca.com, and will renew 02/09/25
