25 | REQUIRED- 1 YEAR INSPECTION CONDUCTED IN ARMENIAN Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Anomeh Eivazian conducted an unannounced required 1- year inspection to the above facility on 09/28/23. LPA arrived at the facility at 09/28/23 AM and met with Ninette Nodasdians, Licensee who guided analyst on a tour of the facility. A COVID 19 risk assessment was conducted prior to entering the facility. Also present during this inspection, were Milena Badayan, licensee's assistant and Nareh Shahbazi, licensee’s daughter. Per licensee, Ninette Nodasdians facility hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. LPA provided a copy of Entrance Checklist—Family Child Care Home (LIC126) to licensee.
This is a two story home located on the first level the home consists of 6 bedrooms, 3 &1/2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining room, living room, laundry room, TV room, garage, front yard and backyard (fenced).
Per licensee the children use the east side of the first floor and backyard which consist of 3 rooms, 1 bathroom, and backyard (fenced). Per licensee areas off limits to children and parents include: West side of the first floor which consists of living room, dining room, kitchen, garage, 1/2 bathroom, west side of the back yard , front yard, and entire second floor which consist of 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms, TV room, and laundry room. During this inspection individuals who reside in the home were discussed and notes on Confidential Name List (LIC811) and attached to this report. Per licensee, parents enter the home through the main entrance which leads to the living room. Per licensee, children walk through the living room to go to the daycare area.
There is a in ground pool on the premises in the off-limit area in the backyard. Per licensee, pool is inaccessible. LPA observed pool is surrounded with five feet high mesh fences. Also gates swing away from the pool, self-closed and have a self-latching device located no more than six inches from the top of the gate. Also, daycare backyard is separated by 6 feet high fences and make the off-limit pool area inaccessible to the children. The fence meets Title 22 Regulations. REPORT CONTINUES ON NEXT PAGE 1 of 5 |
