25 | Licensing Program Analysts (LPAs) Lilli Babcock and Saul Valenzuela conducted an unannounced POC (plan of correction) inspection to ensure that the Type A deficiency cited on 5/14/24 has been cleared. A COVID risk assessment was conducted. LPAs met with Lead Teacher, Nohelly Rios Ramirez, to whom the reason for the visit was explained. As the Lead Teacher was the only staff present in her classroom and was not able to give LPAs a tour and stay in ratio, LPAs conducted a self-guided tour of the facility classrooms. LPAs observed 22 children and 3 staff present during this inspection. Director, Bhagya Wijewadane arrived at the facility at 10:15 am. The following was observed:
· LPAs observed Staff #2 has been fingerprint cleared and associated to the facility. LPAs observed signed LIC 9224s in children’s files.
LPAs advised the Director how to access forms, regulations and quarterly updates on the Child Care Licensing Website at: www.ccld.ca.gov.
LPAs cleared the deficiency on this date and provided a copy of the Licensing Report to Director, Bhagya Wijewardane. LPAs also issued POC clearance letter to Director during the visit.
At this time, the licensee is in compliance with California Code of Regulations Title 22. Therefore, no deficiencies are being cited.
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. Failure to comply with posting requirements shall result in an immediate civil penalty of $100.
